About Sunny Beach

General Info: Sunny Beach is the biggest and the liveliest sea resort of Bulgaria. It has the widest beach strip, with hotels spread along the beach and among the dunes.
Definitely a must see – Sunny Beach - the sunniest resort for the sunniest people!  

 Location: Sunny Beach is situated only 35 km away north of Bourgas.
It features more than 300 hotels, 2 campsites, over 200 catering establishments: restaurants, taverns with folklore shows, bars with floor shows, night clubs, casino, discos and cafes, providing culinary pleasures and a good mood.
The beach resort was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag International prize for proven ecological advantages.

Good restaurants in Sunny Beach:

  • JANNY's - Eat and drink where the locals go (from central alley in front of Kuban Hotel - go West walking 200m straight after crossing the main street) - Expect to cue but worth the wait, biggest kebabs in the resort + incredibly cheap prices!
  • KONDOR (5 min. walking South from central alley in front of Kuban Hotel along the main street) - Again the 10 minutes cue is not an acception, but worth the wait, tasty dishes, good service and prices.
  • Buchvata (The caks) - The best of Bulgarian cuisine washed down by superb Bulgarian wines.
  • Vyaturna melnitsa (Windmill) - Original design and atmosphere, national cuisine. Don't miss the shashlik, grilled on a fire at your side.
  • Strandjanskite colibi (The Mt. Strandjia Huts) - Period huts from the most exotic and least civilized part of the country, typical local cuisine.
